Born on the Day of the Revolution of Mexico, Laura wants to create a revolution of her own. cyborglaura is a name she uses in order to remain semi-anonymous and still have the ability to give herself entirely to a piece. Throughout her short artistic career, she has experimented with short videos, paintings, photography, and writing. She has also worked alongside Risen Zine, a teen magazine that serves to amplify the voices of the youth that are often disregarded and silenced by society. Laura attends Texas Christian University and is currently studying Film, Television, & Digital Media and Creative Writing. She strives to create the love child of glitchy computerized creations and handmade intricate details. The love child of imagination and reality. The love child of glamour and grime. And through these, she creates the children of a new revolution.
